Michael's, better known as Devin, greatest joy is spending quality time with his foster family and playing his favorite musical instruments, the drums and keyboard. Devin also enjoys books, puzzles, movies, church outings and outdoor activities.
Diagnosed with autism, he is enrolled in special education classes for those with significant developmental needs. Despite his delays, Devin is learning and achieving milestones beyond anyone’s expectation. He responds well to consistency and structure.
Devin needs a loving and committed family who can help maximize his full potential, preferably one knowledgeable about autism. The family will need to be very patient and supportive as Devin transitions into a new environment. Ongoing therapeutic services and educational assistance is needed.
