Known as active and happy-go-lucky, Tyre is a sociable teenager who enjoys being with others. Tyre has a wonderful smile and is a pleasure to be around. Some of Tyre's hobbies include listening to music, interacting with others, watching TV, going for drives with his foster family, and playing with interactive toys. Tyre loves to eat and his favorite foods are pizza and french fries!
Tyre is a very special child with emotional, physical, and cognitive delays. Tyre is unable to communicate verbally and his special education teacher is currently working with Tyre on learning new ways to communicate through hand gestures. Tyre receives special education services and is successfully in high school! Tyre is able to integrate with the general student population at his school for non-academic classes, such as art, music, and gym and appears to enjoy the interaction with his fellow schoolmates. Additionally, Tyre has made strides behaviorally with the use of medication and significant structure and routine.
Tyre has lots of love to share with a family. A loving family of any structure, skilled in behavior management who can provide consistency, lots of attention, a daily routine, and safety will give Tyre the opportunity to grow and thrive.
