Herbert, aka “Kirby" is a healthy energetic, playful and outgoing adolescent. Kirby is very expressive and open about his needs, as well as his wishes. He has a wonderful contagious smile that brightens one's day. He needs a lot of one-on-one attention. Kirby also needs structure, so that he understands expectations and consequences. He is motivated to please others, and is disappointed when he does not fulfill others expectations. Kirby is a young man who has a strong will to succeed. He loves school, particularly math. Kirby is interested in football, basketball and would like to travel to see new things and meet people.
It is important to Kirby that he maintains contact with his older siblings. He is excited about becoming part of a family and being embraced as their son.
