Casey

Casey is a charming and sociable child whose greatest joy is spending quality time with her siblings. Drawing, reading, watching television, roller skating, going to the mall and the movie theater are among Casey’s favorite activities.

Due to a traumatic past, she has learned many inappropriate ways of seeking attention and expressing her feelings. Intensive therapy and medication are in place to help Casey develop healthy coping mechanisms. Enrolled in special education classes for those with learning delays, her emotional and behavioral needs are also addressed. Casey wants to attend college and become a veterinarian.

She needs a committed, compassionate and attentive family, one who can mentor her and provide unconditional love in a well-structured environment where she feels safe and secure. The ideal family will understand loss and grief issues and enhance Casey’s self esteem and sense of self worth. Ongoing therapy and contact with siblings being planned for separately is needed.
