Kind and intelligent, Richard is a young man of Caucasian and American Indian descent. He is very attuned to others' feelings and has a lot of love to give.

Like most children his age, Richard loves video games, watching television and participating in sports. If he can participate in a game with prizes, he would give it all to win. The prizes he collects are not for himself but for other foster children in the group home where he resides. Generosity is one of Richard's exceptional qualities. It was also recently discovered that Richard is quite the entertainer! Given a podium, Richard will entertain those around him by singing and dancing. He has quite the singing voice!

Richard is currently in the 7th grade in a special education school that he attends at his residential facility. He struggles with reading and writing and benefits from the academic support and individual attention that he receives. He is receiving therapeutic services that have been helping him cope with his feelings of abandonment and loss. With the support and nurturing from the right family Richard will flourish to his full potential. More than anything, Richard wants a family to call his own.
