Callie

Callie is a friendly and bright boy who needs a loving adoptive home. He was born in May of 1993. He is currently enrolled in 6th grade class and performs at grade level. He is proficient in using computers and he offers to help other children to complete their homework. Callie likes animals and currently he is taking care of a cat that he called "Dallas." He enjoys doing arts and crafts, playing video games, and riding his bike.

Callie is challenged by his emotional and behavioral issues. He displays acting out behaviors due to his past trauma and losses. He follows instructions well and is cooperative when he gets one-on-one attention. When he does not receive it, he will get upset and angry. Callie is in the process of overcoming this issue with the help of therapy and medications. He is making good progress and everyone is pleased about his efforts.
