Faith

Faith is a very happy and friendly child. She loves to be around other children and enjoys watching television and riding her specialized bike. She gets around when necessary in a wheelchair but much prefers to scoot and crawl. She is a very fast crawler. With Faith's determination it is believed that she will walk with the aid of a walker some day.

Faith receives most of her nourishment through a feeding tube but is able to eat some soft foods like oatmeal. Though non-verbal, Faith is able to make most of her needs known through some basic sign language, pointing and a picture board. In school, Faith's teacher is working with her on learning basic skills. Faith needs a family who can take care of all of her needs while maintaining her speech, occupational and physical therapy appointments. If you want to see a really happy child, let Faith play in the bathtub.
