Whether you're hiking up a mountain or just spending time at home, Aaron is your guy. This handsome bi-racial thirteen year old loves hiking, fishing, rope climbing, in addition to computer and video games. Aaron is in the 7th grade and is a very bright child who scores high on standardized tests; unfortunately his current grades do not reflect his intelligence. Like most teenagers, hanging out with friends take precedence over completing homework assignments, but with the right parent Aaron could learn how to balance school and fun. With an outgoing personality, Aaron engages easily in conversation with peers and adults. He is independent and feels comfortable giving his opinion.

Aaron responds well to one-on-one attention and positive reinforcement. Aaron has experienced a great deal of loss and is in therapy learning how to cope with his feelings. He longs to be adopted and have a family to call his own.

Aaron is in need of a permanent family who will help him balance his world and accept him for who he is. If you are interested in being that family for Aaron, please contact Los Angeles county Department of Children and Family services.
