Dequan
Anyone simply looking at these boys can tell that they have a strong brotherly bond. In many ways, Anthony and Dequan are typical brothers, who are cheerfully playing at one moment and arguing the next. Both boys love action figures, cars, trucks and video games. They also love outside activities especially basketball. Their teachers note that the boys are improving in their school performance, but they continue to need structure in order to help them stay focussed on their schoolwork.
In terms of a forever family, those who know them best feel that the boys need a family that can provide structure and constant supervision within the loving environment of a family. Additionally, the ideal family will not have pets of any kind. This family would need to be able to understand that the boys have strong connections to family members in the area and support them in maintaining these connections. We are lookng for a family where the boys will be the only children in the home. This arrangement will allow a family to provide the loving and firm boundaries, which will assist them in growing into young men.
