Rodger is a friendly young man and a hard worker who wants to be a singer when he grows up. Right now he spends his spare time dedicated to his favorite hobby, basketball. He loves the sport so much, he refers to Latrell Spreewell as his hero.

Rodger is currently in a special education setting and is doing well in all his subjects. His favorite class is math in which he has shown tremendous improvement. Rodger states that he wants to complete his education, go on to college and land a good job. He feels that he would make a good employee because he listens well and easily follows directions. In his spare time, he likes to read or play cards. Before he goes to sleep at night Rodger likes to say a prayer and when he is alone he ponders about his future.

Rodger would benefit from a mother as well as a father figure as a mentor. He is very close to his siblings and wishes to keep in contact with them. Rodger states very plainly, that he wants "Someone to love me. I never had that before."
