If you spend the day with Jay, you will fall in love with his ability to laugh and his love of sports. Jay is easy to talk to, and his favorite topics of conversation range from video games to dogs to sports or to his latest adventure. Currently, Jay's favorite class in school is gym. He is a true athlete! Jay enjoys playing tennis, running, playing basketball, and fishing. Recently, this young man has decided to learn to play the drums in the school band. When he gets older, he aspires to be an artist.

Engaging, creative and inquisitive, young Jay has a lot of energy to exert. Jay is very talkative and is both friendly and polite. He enjoys sports, riding his bike or scooter and he also likes to draw. He is looking forward to joining his school's basketball team in the near future.

Enrolled in special education classes in an age-appropriate grade, Jay receives added support. For the most part, he gets along well with his teachers and peers but sometimes finds himself frustrated as he faces the typical middle-school challenge of fitting in and being accepted.

Jay loves to laugh and enjoys programs such as "Drake and Josh" on the Nickelodeon network. Jay favorite animal is the cheetah and he likes playing video games, as well.

Jay wants to be adopted as soon as possible! He hopes he can find a forever family who has a pet dog. If they serve macaroni and cheese (his favorite food) then the family would be even better! Jay is a bright and engaging boy who has experienced much loss in his young life. However, he has much to offer to a family as he works through his past. It would be beneficial for him to have a family who will take interest in his talents and abilities. Whatever path Jay decides to take, he will need the loving support of a family to guide his steps.

Jay would most benefit from a family who is very patient and would provide structure and commitment. Being an only child or having teenage siblings would be helpful for Jay. A forever family will give Jay the support he needs to fulfill his dreams and grow into his full potential as an athlete, an artist, and an incredible individual.
