With a warm and gentle spirit, Marquease definitely leaves an impression that is not easily forgotten. He is affectionate, fun-loving and genuinely enjoys being the center of attention.

Marquease has some developmental delays and he is enrolled in special education classes where he is able to benefit from one-on-one attention. Weekly occupational therapy and speech therapy sessions have helped Marquease to make excellent strides in his development, as well. At one time, Marquease was extremely shy but he has made significant progress in improving his social interactions with others. His teacher states that Marquease is now more outgoing and inclined to show his fun-loving nature.

Getting along well with both his peers and school staff, Marquease enjoys all aspects of his school and the various activities and trips that it offers. Marquease has interests that span between sports and the arts. While he enjoys all sports, Marquease is a true football enthusiast who loves everything about the game. He can be particularly entertaining, especially in showing off some fancy footwork after making a game-winning catch. Playing football has a transforming effect on Marquease, who becomes quite animated and vocal in the physical contact sport. Marquease is equally passionate about the arts and enjoys drawing and coloring in his spare time. He has already decided that he would like to be an artist in the future.

Marquease is a wonderful youngster with a lot of love and big hugs to share. He would greatly benefit from a loving and patient family committed to helping him persevere, despite some developmental delays. Marquease would like a mother, father and even a younger brother that he can both play with and help to protect. The stability and consistency associated with being part of a forever family is just what Marquease needs in continuing to thrive and reach his fullest potential!
