Tashad is a young teen who needs the love, structure and support that only a family can provide. Handsome and witty, Tashad loves family gatherings because they make him feel like he belongs. He is known to entertain and make others laugh during such special times.

At times, Tashad can act a little immature for his age. In an effort to fit in, he will clown around or make jokes to win the friendship or attention of others. Tashad is in a self-contained classroom setting and he is very intelligent with a high IQ. He likes school and spending time with a few of his friends. He attempts to get along with others, but sometimes finds himself in disputes because they pick at and tease him. He realizes that he needs to learn to ignore the annoying behavior of others that often make him upset.

He gets along well with adults, especially in supervised situations but has some difficulty expressing himself appropriately when things do not go his way. Overall, Tashad makes great attempts in trying to remain positive and he also enjoys learning. He loves to read and watch the Discovery Channel. Many nights after completing his homework, Tashad can be found in his room playing video games or eating some of his favorites: spaghetti and meatballs, fried chicken or macaroni and cheese. Tashad is not currently involved in any organized sports, but he enjoys attending or watching various games. However, he has expressed an interest in Karate and is looking forward to signing up for instruction in the near future.

Tashad needs a family that will love him and provide structure to help him succeed. He is extremely bright, but must focus on dealing with his hurt and disappointment in constructive ways. He has a gift for comedic relief, citing that he wants to be a comedian or possibly a corrections officer. Whatever he decides for his future, Tashad needs a committed family that can exercise patience and understanding and help him to overcome and realize his full potential.
