Tyquae

Did you happen to see that flash of lightning sprinting down the basketball court? If not, that was young Tyquae, future member of the NBA! Recently, this basketball star-in-training had the fantastic opportunity to meet with the Philadelphia 76ers and practice along side them. He took tips from professional athletes and listened intently as their coach went over the drills of the day. Tyquae went home as the proudest Sixers fan around, equipped with plenty of fan gear, goodies, and an experience that is sure to stay with him for a long time. Don't let this fool you, however, there is plenty more to Tyquae than basketball. Tyquae has recently learned to play the guitar, and in school he enjoys art, gym, and math.

Tyquae is a loving little boy who will give anything he can to anyone in need. He delights in helping adults with cooking and cleaning, as it helps him feel a great sense of responsibility. Tyquae also enjoys helping children younger than himself. He is great at interacting and playing with his baby foster sister. Tyquae continues to need some redirection at times because of a few focus issues. However, Tyquae is determined and knows what he needs to work on and improve.

Since entering his most recent foster home about 2 years ago, Tyquae has made tremendous improvements and continues to impress those around him. He dreams of one day having a family which will perhaps include a mom, dad, brothers and/or sisters, and maybe even a pet. He is a beautiful, intelligent, and kind boy who deserves the permanence of his "forever family," for he has waited far too long.
