Roy

Roy is a handsome 13 years old seventh grader who enjoys playing soccer but prefers baseball. He’s very athletic and hopes to play baseball someday. Roy likes to spend time at the library to borrow Adventure books and movies. Speaking of adventures, Roy is always open to trying something new. Other than being a baseball player and a Dodger fan, Roy tried his hand at being a news photographer as well. With his younger brother Daniel at his side, Daniel played news reporter and got interview tips from our Anchor, Christine Devine and long time sports reporter, Vic “The Brick” Jacobs.
Roy is a very expressive young man. He is able to communicate his needs clearly. As the big brother, Roy is quite protective of Daniel and you’d seldom find the two of them apart. Roy is a nurturing big brother who onetime saved up his allowance to make sure Daniel got a pet gold fish he had been wanting for his birthday.
Under the watchful eye of his big brother, Daniel is free to explore many areas of interest. He’s not decided what he wants to be when he grows up. For now he just loves sports and being around his big brother. Daniel picks up on his brother’s nurturing sense and is often the first person at school to volunteer to help teachers. Daniel is very affectionate and loves and admires his brother. Daniel is more a soccer fan, but was glad to be a part of his big brother’s Dodger dream day.
Both brothers share a common dream, though, and that is to score a forever family that they can call their own and who will go to bat for them. Wednesday’s Child teamed up with the Dodgers to make a Dodger dream day possible. We’re looking for a family to step up to the plate and make their dream of being part of a forever family-team come true.
