Creative and thoughtful are two words that will come to mind when you meet Tashamani. She is a very sweet and friendly young lady with a beautiful smile. Tashamani has a great sense of humor and likes to joke around and have fun. She is mature for her age and gets along better with adults than children her own age.

Tashamani is a very bright child and gets good grades in school. Though math is her favorite subject, she does best in English. She loves to read and write short stories and poems which she keeps in a journal. Tashamani uses writing as ways to escape and to comfort herself when she is sad. It is also how she expresses her dreams for the future. She is also very neat and organized and helpful to others.

Tashamani’s favorite topic to write about is her dream of getting out of foster care and finding a loving family to care for her. She doesn’t ask for much. Just a family that will love her through the ups and downs and help her navigate a path to adulthood.
