Naomi

Naomi is a likeable young teen who aspires to have a job working directly with children in need. Initially, she can be very shy but when asked questions about herself- Naomi will eventually warm up and can be very talkative and engaging. Enrolled in 8th grade special education classes, Naomi receives individualized support in addressing both her emotional and academic needs. She is progressing well and she gets along with both her peers and teachers. She is very much interested in computers and that is her most favorite class. Naomi enjoys creating Power Point presentations and playing computer games Funny commercials, Funniest Home Videos and some parts of the ?Men in Black? make Naomi laugh. She enjoys basketball, music, pool, and she is a very skilled at playing air hockey. Naomi loves pizza, chicken and hot wings. She uses an inhaler for sports induced asthma when needed and she must be mindful of her allergies to both bees and eggs. With regards to her future, Naomi looks forward to attending college and becoming a parent herself. Moreover, she yearns to be adopted into a loving family that is patient in helping her to overcome some issues from her traumatic past. She would also like an active family that shares her love of animals. A family willing to engage in on-going therapy would be ideal for this special young lady- by helping her to develop a positive self- image and in exploring various creative pursuits. Naomi has siblings with whom she maintains regular phone contact as well as monthly visits. These important relationships should be both continued and supported.
